Tend

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Tend is a task app built to keep your information on your device and out of everyone else's hands — including ours. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means for your data.

The short versionYour tasks, buckets, and settings are stored only on your device. Tend has no account system and no server that holds your data, so we can't see it. We don't use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking. The only information that ever leaves your device is what's needed to process a subscription, handled by Apple and RevenueCat.

Information stored on your device

Everything you create in Tend — your buckets, tasks, due dates, reminders, and app settings — is saved locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and we have no way to access it. If you use Tend on more than one device, your data is not shared between them; Tend does not sync.

Information we don't collect

Tend has no account, sign-up, or login. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the app. Tend contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking tools. We don't build a profile of you or track your activity across apps or websites.

Subscriptions and purchases

If you choose to subscribe to Tend Premium, your payment is processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's Privacy Policy. To manage subscriptions — validating your purchase and restoring it if you reinstall Tend or change devices — Tend uses a service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous identifier and information about your purchase, such as the subscription product and its status, along with basic technical data needed to provide the service. This does not include your name, email, or the contents of your tasks. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Reminders and notifications

If you turn on reminders, Tend schedules them locally on your device. Reminder information is not sent to us or to any server.

Keeping and deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you're in control of it. You can remove everything at any time using "Reset all data" in Tend's settings, or by deleting the app from your device. We don't keep a copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.

Children

Tend is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Tend doesn't collect personal information from anyone, this isn't a concern in practice — but we note it for clarity.

Changes to this policy

If Tend adds features that change how data is handled — for example, optional cloud sync or shared lists — we'll update this policy and the date above before those features go live. Continued use of Tend after an update means you accept the revised policy.
